We are seeking individuals with Surety experience to join our Center of Excellence team. The position can be based in our New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Dallas or Boston office, or remote, with a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
What To Expect- You will be responsible for servicing existing client relationships and assisting in the development of new ones.
- You will rapidly develop and manage a portfolio of client relationships.
- You will demonstrate strong listening, analytical, attention‑to‑detail, proactive problem‑solving, and sales‑process management skills.
- Work closely with the Surety broking team to manage reinsurance placements from start to finish, including post‑placement activities.
- Lead client calls and meetings to discuss reinsurance programs, renewals, modeling, and benchmarking.
- Train new staff, monitor workflow, and assist in process improvements to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop a rapport with clients to be viewed as a trusted advisor.
- Liaise with legal, actuarial, accounting, and claims departments to service client needs and optimize reinsurance programs.
- Collaborate with broking teams across the organization to identify Surety opportunities.
- 6+ years’ experience in primary or reinsurance underwriting and/or reinsurance broking.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting.
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong critical‑thinking skills in finance, economics, or statistics.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration.
- Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) designation.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $104,500 to $228,000. The base pay will be determined by experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Performance-based incentives may also be available.
