CFO - Chief Financial Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team located in Lowell, Massachusetts. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our healthcare business, which includes accounting, finance, and operational duties. This role offers a long‑term contract employment opportunity.

• Oversee and manage the financial and accounting functions within the company.
• Participate in the development of strategies and implementation of financial plans.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
• Oversee the budgeting process and ensure efficient capital management.
• Analyze and manage cash flow to ensure the financial stability of the organization.
• Oversee the financial reporting process, including monthly and annual reports, to meet regulatory and internal requirements.
• Facilitate the integration of acquired companies to ensure a smooth transition.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Utilize CRM and other business systems to streamline operations.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare and Safety Net hospital requirements.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and 3M.
• Knowledge and understanding of finance administration and acquisition integration.
• Experience with ADP
  - Financial Services and cash flow analysis.
• Ability to manage budgets and understand capital management.
• Experience in auditing and accounting functions.
• Proficiency in implementation strategies and finance transformation.
• Knowledge of annual and monthly financial reporting.
• Proven experience in a CFO or similar leadership role within the finance sector.
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems and Business systems.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and ADP
  - Financial Services.
• Strong understanding of accounting functions, auditing, and budget processes.
• Demonstrable knowledge of capital management and cash flow analysis.
• Experience with acquisition integration and implementation of strategies.
• Proven track record in finance transformation and finance administration.
• Ability to prepare annual and monthly financial reports.
• Experience with the 3M system is a plus.
• Strong strategic planning skills and business acumen.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage pressure.
• Advanced degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g. CFA/CPA) are advantageous.
