The combined platform delivers complete data ownership and portability, compliance-grade governance, and a foundation for AI and analytics. As we enter our next phase of growth, we are seeking a highly capable, hands-on Finance Director to lead the financial operations of the combined group and partner closely with the CFO and executive leadership team.
The RoleThe Finance Director will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day financial management of GRAX. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this role oversees financial reporting and controls, tax compliance, cash management, planning and analysis, and business partnering across the organization.
What You'll Do Financial Reporting & Controls- Own the monthly close and deliver accurate, timely management accounts and reporting packs
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls, policies, and processes across the combined group
- Manage relationships with external accountants, auditors, and advisors
- Manage US federal and state tax compliance in coordination with external advisors
- Support group consolidation and reporting requirements
- Own cash management and cash-flow forecasting, monitoring working capital
- Oversee billing, collections, and payables processes
- Partner closely with the CFO and business leaders to support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
- Provide insightful variance analysis and recommendations to improve financial and operational performance
- Support the evaluation of strategic initiatives, investments, and growth opportunities through financial analysis and modeling
- Monitor key business and SaaS performance metrics, including recurring revenue, customer retention, gross margin, and profitability
- Deliver timely financial insights to support executive decision-making and business performance management
- Act as a trusted finance partner to leaders across the organization
- Support the continued integration of finance processes and systems across the combined group
- Strong experience within a SaaS, software, or technology company
- Demonstrated experience with US tax compliance and financial reporting
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
- M&A and post-merger integration experience desirable
- Highly detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy and organizational skills
- Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Collaborative team player who builds strong relationships across the organization
- Shape the finance function of a newly combined, fast-growing software group
- Work directly with the CFO and executive leadership, with high visibility across the Ascendx portfolio
