Responsibilities include leading and developing the international accounting team, managing external providers and auditors, and partnering with Tax, Legal, FP&A, and Corporate Accounting teams on entity governance, compliance, and cross-border financial matters.

The position also drives executive reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support leadership decision-making while strengthening internal controls and mitigating financial and operational risks.

This role is a full-time hybrid (3 days in 2 at home) position that will offer between 180-200K base, 30%-35% bonus, and strong benefits. If you are interested in this opportunity, please reach out to Vincenzo Kulturides directly at

Responsibilities:
  • Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for all non-U.S. subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to deadlines.

  • Oversee the review and posting of journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany activity, bank and cash activity, payroll-related entries, expense accruals, and management fee allocations.

  • Oversee multi-currency accounting, intercompany balances, subsidiary cash positions, and consolidation within the global ledger.

  • Ensure the integrity of local-provider data uploaded into Workday or other ERP systems, including alternate account mapping and alignment with corporate reporting requirements.

  • Own the statutory reporting calendar across all international entities.

  • Oversee external audit firms and in-country accounting service providers, including deliverable quality, timeline management, issue resolution, and performance escalation.

  • Review and approve significant statutory financial statements, reporting packages, supporting schedules, and audit responses.

  • Partner with Tax, Legal, and local advisors on VAT, corporate tax filings, transfer pricing documentation, intercompany arrangements, and related-party accounting considerations.

  • Provide finance leadership for entity lifecycle activity, including in corporations, restructurings, mergers, liquidations, and wind-downs across international jurisdictions.

  • Support accounting and finance requirements related to Advisory Fee Agreements, Board Resolutions, Powers of Attorney, Annual General Meetings, board interactions, and regulatory or tax authority inquiries.

  • Lead review of international subsidiary financial results and oversee preparation of executive-level reporting, monthly business review materials, board decks, and variance analysis.

  • Provide concise commentary on subsidiary performance, budget-versus-actual results, cash positions, trends, risks, and operational drivers.

  • Own the internal control framework for international accounting, including review controls, provider controls, account reconciliations, cash controls, documentation standards, and financial reporting controls.

  • Identify, assess, monitor, and remediate financial reporting and operational risks across the international entity structure.

  • Set the process improvement roadmap for international accounting.

  • Partner with IT and Finance Systems teams to enhance Workday workflows, account mapping, reporting packages, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

  • Evaluate and implement technology solutions that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, strengthen controls, and support the scalability of the international accounting function.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required. CPA or equivalent strongly preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team management and complex multinational accounting operations. Big 4 public accounting and private equity/investment management experience are highly desirable.

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP; significant experience with multi-currency accounting, statutory reporting, consolidation, controls, and external service provider management.

  • Experience with ERP systems, Workday preferred, and reporting/analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau; strong Excel skills required.

  • Proven ability to lead high-performing teams, manage external providers across multiple jurisdictions, communicate with senior leadership, and prioritize competing global deadlines in a collaborative, solutions-oriented manner.
