Position: Credit UW I-II

Job Overview

Support credit underwriting and monitoring for new and existing clients in partnership with a credit team. Responsible for independently managing low‑complexity transactions or portfolios, completing and reviewing credit analysis, evaluating risks, and writing financial analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the credit analysis process with support of other analysts and associates.
  • Partner with Credit Officers, Relationship Management, and Risk teammates to understand structuring needs and requirements.
  • Monitor operating performance and financial condition, proactively identifying issues and opportunities.
  • Assist in delivery of financial modeling, loan structure, industry and economic analyses to support the loan decision‑making process.
  • Review work of junior teammates to provide feedback/coaching and ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and policy procedure.
  • May have primary coverage responsibility for a portfolio of clients with limited complexity and credit approval for certain credit actions.
  • Participate in loan structure conversations and completion of loan documentation with internal and external legal partners.
Required Skills
  • 3+ years of solid experience in financial analysis, structuring, underwriting and portfolio management.
  • Strong communication and analytical/technical skills, including financial accounting, modeling, and loan structuring in Commercial Banking in Middle Market or Large Corporates or Leverage Finance or other complex markets.
  • Experience in financial analysis and portfolio management.
Desired Skills
  • BS/BA degree.
  • 2‑3 years of credit analyst experience preferred.

Pay & Incentives

Annualized salary: $70,000.00 – $, determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive: eligible for the annual discretionary plan.
