Interim CFO

We are seeking an experienced Interim CFO to provide strategic and hands-on financial leadership during a defined transition period. This role will support executive leadership by overseeing financial operations, strengthening controls, and ensuring accurate, timely reporting while helping guide the organization through short-term and longer-term financial objectives.

• Provide senior‑level financial leadership and act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership and key stakeholders
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial data and reporting
• Evaluate and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes
• Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and short‑ and long‑term financial forecasting
• Support audit, tax, and compliance activities, working with external auditors and advisors as needed
• Partner with operational and functional leaders to assess financial performance and drive informed decision‑making
• Identify areas for process improvement, cost optimization, and operational efficiency
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to finance and accounting team members
• Support special projects, transactions, or initiatives as required during the engagement
• Maintain clear, professional communication with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• CPA required
• 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including senior leadership or CFO‑level responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Proven experience overseeing complex financial operations and leading finance teams
• Demonstrated ability to step into fast‑paced, transitional environments and provide immediate impact
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial information for executive audiences
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
• Prior interim, consulting, or contract‑based leadership experience strongly preferred
