Position Overview
BRG Corporate Finance – Turnaround & Restructuring practice seeks professionals to support client service teams on diverse turnaround advisory assignments. The role involves client presentations, financial modeling, and collaborative analysis to deliver actionable recommendations.
Responsibilities- Support day‑to‑day activities of the BRG Corporate Finance – Turnaround & Restructuring client service teams.
- Execute multiple consulting tasks including financial modeling and client presentations.
- Develop 13‑week cash‑flow models, 3‑statement models, and pro‑forma scenario models using business, finance, accounting, and analytical skills.
- Collaborate with Turnaround & Restructuring experts, external partners, and client contacts to achieve engagement objectives.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables.
- Participate in practice development activities such as marketing, client pitches, and product development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; 4+ years of experience, ideally consulting or professional services.
- Experience in financial modeling and analysis (particularly Excel), including 3‑statement models, cash flow analysis, and scenario planning.
- Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data.
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills with the ability to develop insights and recommendations.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to interact with junior and senior team members, senior management, and other stakeholders.
- Mature presence, empathy, intellectual curiosity, and quick learning ability.
- Ability to work independently or within a team dynamic.
- Competence in managing multiple tasks, prioritizing changing work demands, and learning quickly.
- Credentials such as CFA, CPA (or equivalent), or advanced GAAP accounting expertise are a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Salary Range: $90,000 to $160,000 per year.
