Role SummaryWealth Strategist / Client Development Sales Executive – a senior business‑development role focused on cultivating new UHNW (Ultra‑High Net Worth) client relationships and driving wealth‑management solutions. You will generate new business, transition prospects to the advisory team, and act as a community ambassador for the firm.
Responsibilities- Drive new client development by identifying prospects and presenting Northern Trust capabilities.
- Build relationships with UHNW individuals, families, and businesses, and maintain ongoing communication with clients and their representatives.
- Provide consultative guidance on estate planning, wealth transfer, and tax‑planning strategies.
- Collaborate with specialist teams to transition newly acquired clients into appropriate advisory roles.
- Engage as a brand ambassador in community, civic, and philanthropic organizations.
- Leverage Centers of Influence (COIs) such as attorneys, estate planners, and CPAs to generate referrals.
- Use strong analytical skills to match client asset situations with Northern Trust’s solutions.
- Collaborate across the firm to deliver a goals‑driven wealth‑management approach.
- 10+ years of sales/relationship‑management experience, preferably in wealth management.
- Established network of COIs for UHNW clients.
- Deep knowledge of fiduciary capabilities (trusts, wills, investment management, custody, tax planning, etc.).
- Proficiency in profiling client financial landscapes and recommending solutions.
- Series 7 and 63 licenses required; CFP, CFTA, CFA, or CIMA preferred.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Self‑stimulant with entrepreneurial drive and persistence.
Salary Range: $137,400 – $240,400 USD (base). A discretionary bonus program and equity component may be included.
