Responsibilities

  • Responsible for service, retention, sales, and development of the Retail IRA and service offering for the Voya Retail business.
  • Manage, retain, and grow client relationships through outside sales, regular outreach, and collaboration with other Participant Service & Sales Solutions (PSSS) roles for support.
  • Attain personally assigned and division‑paid production goals with minimal daily supervision.
  • Conduct needs analysis to help clients make optimal investment decisions.
  • Implement advanced strategies for retail accounts, including retirement income planning and wealth accumulation.
  • Maintain expertise in financial securities, investments, insurance and related areas to provide ongoing guidance and planning services.
  • Manage ongoing client relationships and, where appropriate, act in the capacity of an Investment Advisor Representative.
  • Model and share industry‑leading sales, service, and customer relationship best practices across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and fiduciary standards.
  • Additional duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Strongly preferred:
    Bachelor’s degree; 2–5 years of financial services or related experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Required:

    FINRA registrations Series 7, 66 or 65/63 and CRPC designation, or ability to obtain within a limited time period.
  • Preferred: MBA, CFP, or CFA designation.
  • Strong sales and customer‑relationship experience.
  • Full understanding of retirement and retirement income planning.
  • Adherence to FINRA/DOL fiduciary standards and delivery of service against those standards.
  • Dedication to delivering an outstanding customer experience with every customer interaction.
  • Willingness to share best practices, strong work ethic, and leadership traits.
  • Combination of inbound and outbound calling experience.
  • 5 days per week in Boston.
Compensation

Annual base salary range: $106,180 – $132,720 USD.

In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities, including annual cash incentives and sales incentives, based on performance objectives.
