Senior Analyst, Portfolio Strategy – You will work on a small team reporting to the Manager of Portfolio Strategy. In this role you will design and track pricing and credit strategies, collaborate with executive leadership to understand emerging trends, and work closely with Sales and Underwriting teams.
In this role you will:- Collaborate with senior team members to assess and manage portfolio risk, ensuring alignment with organizational risk tolerance.
- Provide reporting and analysis of pricing and profitability to senior management on portfolio and pricing initiatives.
- Assess potential impacts of new strategies on the current portfolio.
- Continually monitor performance data models and offer recommendations on policy changes related to data models.
- Engage in exploratory initiatives to identify and develop new business strategies.
- Work closely with senior team members to implement and execute strategic initiatives.
- Identify and assess new data sources to help bolster the company’s underwriting and analytics capabilities.
Skills and Experience:
- Intellectual curiosity and strong quantitative skills.
- 5+ years of experience in an analytically driven role (finance, analytics, consulting, etc.).
- Familiarity with risk and pricing strategies preferred.
- Self‑starter with drive to outperform and attention to detail.
- Ability to build long‑lasting relationships with key contacts at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient skills in Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Python.
- Knowledge of analytical and modeling techniques such as Decision Tree, regression, AB testing.
- Preferred: consumer or small business credit and pricing experience.
