Seaport Tax is a growing boutique tax accounting firm serving high-net-worth clients across the country. We are a dedicated team of young professionals with over 10 years of experience providing exceptional tax preparation and tax planning services. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a talented Senior Tax Associate to bring their expertise and leadership to our team.

We provide tax preparation and tax planning services to a diverse group of clients around the country. Our hybrid team includes employees working in our Boston-based office and in four other states.

- Prepare and review complex individual, trust, partnership, and corporate tax returns
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to high-net-worth clients
- Serve as a senior point of contact for client communications and tax-related inquiries
- Mentor and support junior tax associates, reviewing their work for accuracy and completeness
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and proactively communicate recommendations to clients and partners
- Stay current on federal and state tax law changes and assess impact on client situations
- Assist partners in managing client engagements from planning through delivery
- Collaborate with the Operations Team on billing, deadlines, and workflow management
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and internal best-practice development
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; advanced degree a plus
- CPA license required (or actively pursuing with significant progress)
- 5+ years of public accounting or tax experience, preferably with high-net-worth or private client focus
- Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state individual income tax
- Experience with trust, estate, partnership, and/or S-Corp taxation a significant plus
- Proficiency with professional tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, Pro Series, or similar)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple engagements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative mindset and the desire to help build something great
- Manager- or partner-track candidates strongly encouraged to apply
- Appreciation for a team that takes its work seriously but not itself- sense of humor a plus
- Competitive salary: $85,000–$115,000 commensurate with experience
