The Director of Financial Reporting is a leadership role within a dynamic real estate organization known for its rapid growth and strong culture. You will oversee accounting and financial reporting functions for a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial statements. This position offers an attractive compensation package, with an estimated pay range of $140,000 to $150,000 annually, along with a bonus of 20% and comprehensive benefits.

- Collaborate with property and asset management teams to develop budgets and forecasts
- Manage onboarding and offboarding of property transactions and ensure seamless system transitions
- Verify the accuracy of lease data and maintain the integrity of accounting systems
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff, providing ongoing training and professional growth opportunities
- Coordinate with auditors and serve as the primary contact for tax and audit engagements
- Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency Credentials
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or public accounting experience is preferred but not mandatory
- 7+ years of commercial real estate accounting experience
- 3-5 years of leadership or team management experience
- Strong knowledge of real estate financial statements, CAM, lease accounting, and escalations
- Experience with Yardi is required; MRI is a plus
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a technology-driven, fast-paced environment
