Position OverviewThe Senior Tax Consultant will support clients across a variety of industries, focusing primarily on income tax provisions, tax compliance, tax research, and consulting engagements. This role provides significant exposure to ASC 740 matters and strategic tax initiatives while working alongside highly experienced professionals.
Key ResponsibilitiesASC 740 Income Tax Provisions
- Prepare and review ASC 740 income tax provisions and related work papers
- Identify and communicate potential tax risks and opportunities
- Analyze uncertain tax positions and related documentation
Tax Compliance
- Support federal, state, and local tax compliance engagements
- Review tax returns and identify book-to-tax differences
Tax Research & Consulting
- Conduct technical tax research and document conclusions
- Prepare tax memoranda and supporting analyses
- Assist with tax controversy and consulting projects
- Support clients on significant tax positions and planning initiatives
- Fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, including target bonuses of up to 30% at the Senior level
- Work on highly complex and interesting projects rather than repetitive compliance work

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; advanced degree preferred
- CPA designation or progress toward certification preferred
- 2–5 years of public accounting and/or corporate tax experience
- Experience preparing and reviewing ASC 740 income tax provisions
