The Strategic Finance team provides data-driven insights to inform strategic, financial, and operational decision-making. We’re seeking a Manager of Strategic Finance to partner with Sales and Marketing to drive initiatives such as new business acquisition planning, budget optimization, and long‑term strategic projects.

• Provide financial and strategic thought leadership supported by rigorous analysis, focusing on new business acquisition targets and budget optimization.
• Facilitate executive leadership decision making by translating sophisticated financial analysis into actionable operational recommendations.
• Drive strategic initiatives through business partnering, analytical insight, and project management.
• Collaborate across all levels by building strong cross‑functional relationships and developing a deep understanding of Toast’s business model, unit economics, product and market strategies, competitive landscape, and internal processes.
• Analyze and report on GTM KPIs, including bookings forecasts and customer acquisition costs, to support executive decision making.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly quantitative and qualitative analysis of financial results, including variances to plan, and highlight key issues, risks, and business drivers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, or Business Intelligence roles.
• Proven track record as a finance business partner to Sales and Marketing organizations, with emphasis on sales‑rep capacity modeling.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven success collaborating across a wide spectrum of stakeholders and developing high‑performing talent.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; ability to distill complex analyses into structured outputs used by teams to size opportunities and build business cases for pursuing new initiatives.
• Effective project management and communication skills; highly organized, independent, and self‑motivated, with ability to build for scale and present to all levels of management.

• Public company Strategic Finance experience.
• Working knowledge of Adaptive and SQL.
• Sales compensation/quota planning experience.
• Experience leveraging generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) to accelerate workflows, boost productivity, or enhance creative output.

Our total rewards package includes a base salary range of $125,000—$200,000 USD, as well as cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.
