Senior Portfolio Associate, Family Office Located Just West of Boston
The role involves providing dedicated support to the Managing Principal’s clients, the largest clients in the firm, by performing an array of duties including client onboarding, processing portfolio transactions, working with custodians to address custody vs firm discrepancies, portfolio reporting – including assisting the Managing Partner with creating customized reporting templates, gathering materials for and attending portfolio reviews, executing post review tasks, and serving as the initial point of contact to address any client inquiries;
to provide the client with portfolio updates, working with the Senior team to identify process efficiencies, etc.
- Client onboarding
- Processing portfolio transactions
- Working with custodians to address custody vs firm discrepancies
- Portfolio reporting, including assisting the Managing Partner with creating customized reporting templates
- Gathering materials for and attending portfolio reviews
- Executing post review tasks
- Serving as the initial point of contact to address any client inquiries and providing portfolio updates
- Working with the Senior team to identify process efficiencies
- 5+ years of experience providing this type of support to an Advisor community at a wealth management firm
- Series 65 license is a plus; a candidate without it will be required to pursue the license
- Strong knowledge of portfolio operations, transaction processing, and custodial reconciliation
- Excellent communication skills and client‑service orientation
- Ability to develop and maintain customized reporting templates
Base salary in the $140,000–$175,000 range, depending on experience, plus bonus potential.
