About the Role

We are seeking a Trader to join our Cross Asset Electronic Trading (XAET) team. This role leverages a range of electronic execution protocols to systematically trade across multiple asset classes, with a primary focus on macro markets, in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Execute systematic trades across macro markets and other asset classes using electronic execution protocols and continuously enhance execution workflows/strategies to improve outcomes, efficiency, and risk controls.
  • Partner with Portfolio Managers, Research Analysts, and Strategists to translate investment views and portfolio objectives into executable trading plans, informed by real‑time monitoring of market moves, liquidity, and venue flow.
  • Maintain deep expertise in market structure and the electronic trading ecosystem (venue microstructure, regulation, and technology), adapting execution approaches as conditions evolve.
  • Build strong relationships with brokers, market makers, and trading venues to improve market access, liquidity sourcing, and execution quality.
  • Collaborate with Traders, Trading Research & Analytics, and Trading Technology to improve tools/data and deliver ongoing performance and risk reporting.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in systematic trading using electronic protocols.
  • Knowledge of various trading platforms and tools is a plus.
  • Versatility is critical: ability and willingness to learn and trade instruments across the entire team’s remit.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem‑solving skills, detail oriented and ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proactive in learning about market structure evolution, industry solutions, and pursuing new opportunities to improve execution outcomes and/or trading workflows.
  • Project‑management and strong organizational skills, with the ability to drive projects from inception to completion.
  • Solid work ethic and a growth mindset, continuously investing in personal development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience working in a highly collaborative, team‑based, and results‑oriented environment.
  • Impeccable integrity, fiduciary mindset, and ability to consistently place the interests of our clients as the number one priority.
  • Technical mindset with experience in programming languages such as Python, R or C++, constructing and analyzing SQL/database queries is preferred.
  • Academic credentials: a bachelor’s degree is required; additional business, financial, or technology degrees and certifications (MBA, CFA, CAIA) are highly additive.
  • If you are not fully qualified in every area, but believe you could excel in this role, we encourage you to apply.
