Vice President of Accounting

Responsibilities- Oversee and modernize the accounting and finance infrastructure.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
- Manage all aspects of accounting and compliance.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly and annual close processes.
- Work closely with the CFO to enhance financial and investor reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- At least 10 years of real estate accounting experience.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in affordable housing, HUD, or Section 8.
- Proven track record in team leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement, controls, and implement scalable accounting practices.
- CPA and/or Master’s degree preferred.
