Regional Director of Finance – The Regional Director of Finance will be the key financial leadership position within the regional team. The role supports the operations team and assists property teams with all finance and accounting matters, including analytical information to operations, guidance on performance improvement, forecast, budgeting, cash management, labor management, and monthly financial statements.
Responsibilities- Support operations financial analysis needs and provide guidance on opportunities to improve the financial performance of the properties.
- Work with ownership as the lead for accounting issues with the properties.
- Review the system of internal controls on property.
- Review the property cash flow forecast and assist with the presentation to ownership.
- Coordinate with the Assistant Controllers and accountants in the Central Accounting Office (CAO) who also support the properties.
- Assist the property in resolving issues raised by the CAO.
- Schedule and review monthly P&L statements with property and CAO team to close within scheduled close calendar.
- Schedule and review 90‑day forecasts within Profit Sword, in coordination with the regional VPs of Ops, aiming for forecast accuracy of less than 3% for both revenue and profit.
- Schedule and review annual budgets, comparing to prior year forecasts and actuals.
- Serve as subject matter expert on company systems, specifically NEO, Profit sage, Microsoft F&O, Craftable, Dooap, and Pyramid’s proprietary month‑end and budget decks.
- Provide training for property accounting and operation teams related to the aforementioned company systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Travel 25‑50% of the time due to business needs.
- Four‑year college degree, major in accounting/finance.
- At least 10 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably within hotel accounting.
- Experience operating in a centralized accounting environment preferred.
- Willingness to travel 25‑50% of the time.
$155,000 – $160,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
