Research Analyst - Structured Finance

We are seeking a Private Credit L2 Pricing Specialist to support a private credit asset manager covering U.S. and European private structured credit assets.

• Assist in the valuation of structured finance instruments by analyzing market pricing data and cash flows using platforms such as Bloomberg, INTEXCalc, Eikon, and other industry‑standard platforms.
• Review, assess, and challenge third‑party pricing.
• Establish controls to ensure accuracy and independence of valuations.
• Prepare detailed valuation reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Conduct P&L analysis.
• Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.
• Maintain relationships with external valuation vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Working knowledge of ASC 820, US GAAP, and fair value reporting requirements.
• Familiarity with structured credit instruments, derivatives, CLOs, BDCs, and closed‑end fund structures.
• Strong understanding of valuation methodologies for illiquid credit, including discounted cash flow, market yield calibration, and scenario/stress analysis.
• Experience in utilizing platforms such as Bloomberg, Pitchbook, Capital IQ, Eikon, Solve Advisors, and Finsight for pricing support, market comps, and research.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with Python or VBA is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Relevant experience of 2 to 3 years.
