Our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team is growing extensively. As a Manager in the Transactions group, you will shape and sustain momentum by providing innovative, strategic solutions to clients across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities- Consult clients on complex and technical accounting issues.
- Collaborate with partners, senior managers, and clients to shape strategy while balancing risk and client expectations.
- Ensure the engagement team fully understands clients’ unique needs, ambitions, and expectations.
- Build relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to deliver integrated services.
- Manage performance and identify opportunities to improve products and processes.
As a Manager, you will need a deep understanding of key complex accounting areas, the ability to think quickly and challenge existing practices, strong consulting and communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree, CPA certification and 2 to 5 years of experience, preferably as an auditor in a public accounting firm.
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
- Thorough understanding of US GAAP.
- Experience or interest in revenue recognition, share‑based payments, financial asset transfers (e.g., securitizations, factoring agreements), consolidations, and equity‑method accounting.
- Exposure to strategic transactions such as business combinations, M&As, and joint ventures.
- Understanding of the financial services industry, terminology, processes, and tools.
- Proven record of excellence managing, mentoring, and improving a high‑performing team.
- Confidence to research and resolve emerging client issues, regulations, industry practices, and new technologies.
