Stock Plan Benefits Administrator

We are currently seeking candidates for a Stock Plan Benefits Administrator role with a prominent real estate firm. The Stock Plan Benefits Administrator will be responsible for administering equity compensation programs, maintaining data integrity across multiple platforms, and supporting compliance reporting for global equity transactions. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with equity compensation programs and strong proficiency in data management and reconciliation.

This is a 6‑month contract position paying $60‑$70 per hour (depending on experience).

This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days per week in Boston, MA (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday onsite; Monday and Friday remote).

Responsibilities
  • Administer employee equity compensation programs, including RSUs and ESPP transactions
  • Maintain and reconcile equity data across internal systems and third‑party platforms
  • Prepare reports for payroll, tax withholding, audits, and compliance purposes
  • Process equity grants, vesting activity, and employee stock purchase transactions
  • Support accelerated vesting events related to retirements, terminations, and other qualifying events
  • Coordinate data transfers between HR, payroll, finance, and external vendors
  • Respond to employee questions related to stock plans and equity activity
  • Maintain insider trading lists and process documentation
  • Assist with audits, reporting requests, and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience administering equity compensation or stock plan programs
  • Experience with Oracle/Fusion and equity administration platforms preferred
  • Experience with Morgan Stanley/E
    * TRADE platforms is a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and reconcile large data sets accurately
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Knowledge of ERISA, IRS, DOL, and SOX compliance requirements related to equity programs preferred
