Financial Analyst

Summary

The Financial Analyst I will be responsible for maintaining spreadsheets and statistical models for financial analyses and will assist with the preparation of various reports and presentations for management.

• Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management.
• Creates ad hoc reports and performs financial analysis.
• Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
• Reviews financial reporting and ensures data integrity to enable management decisions.
• Evaluate capital expenditures and depreciation.
• Analyze processes to identify gaps that can improve profit margins.

Associate's Degree Related Field of Study required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study preferred.

Experience in accounting or finance 2-3 years required. Experience in a role within a large healthcare organization 2-3 years preferred.

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Good analytical and mathematical skills.
• Intermediate Excel is required (pivot tables and V lookups).
• Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
• GAAP - Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Ability to analyze, consolidate, and interpret accounting data.
