Work ArrangementThis position will be a hybrid work arrangement. You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office four days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving five additional remote days to be used as needed.
Portfolio Associate Responsibilities- Prepare, maintain, and present materials for internal and external quarterly portfolio reviews and updates.
- Prepare portfolio construction and allocation materials for Harbour Vest Committees, analyze fund capacity, reserves, investment allocation, and performance.
- Participate in investment group discussions in relation to the evaluation of commitments.
- Leverage data, create templates, and maintain standardized/recurring analysis to support strategy team metrics.
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve business activities and address investment team needs through technology.
- Prepare, maintain, and present materials for existing clients, including fund updates, portfolio updates, data room management, and ad‑hoc analysis.
- Other responsibilities as required.
- Background in Private Markets preferred.
- Proven problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Deal Cloud, and Intralinks.
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A) or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor of Science (B.S) or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting capacity preferred.
$79,000.00 - $ USD base salary. This range represents only one component of total compensation and is provided in accordance with local requirements. The role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, long‑term reward programs, and a comprehensive total rewards package that may include retirement, health, insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs. Eligibility for certain components will vary by position and geography.
