Internship Overview
Join the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) group at J.P. Morgan as a 9‑week Summer Analyst. The program offers orientation, training, and hands‑on experience in one of three CRE sub‑lines:
Real Estate Banking (REB), Community Development Banking (CDB), or Agency & Institutional Capital (AIC). You will conduct credit and financial analysis, industry research, and network with peers and senior managers.
- Real Estate Banking (REB)
- Community Development Banking (CDB)
- Agency & Institutional Capital (AIC)
- Build financial models to support financing transactions
- Assist in completing credit approval memos, pre‑screen memos, and sponsor analyses
- Prepare marketing materials for client meetings covering financing alternatives and industry trends
- Develop an understanding of J.P. Morgan products and service offerings
- REB – Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Irvine, Houston, New York, San Francisco
- CDB – Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Washington DC
- AIC – Chicago, Irvine, New York
- Expected graduation between December 2027 and Spring 2028
- Strong interest in Commercial Real Estate
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Coursework in real estate, finance, accounting, or economics preferred
Authorization to work in the U.S. is required. This program does not offer employment‑based immigration sponsorship or support for OPT/CPT. A potential full‑time offer at the conclusion of the internship will also be ineligible for such sponsorship.
