We're seeking a Budget & Financial Planning Analyst to support our client’s senior leadership and departmental stakeholders with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting activities. This role will assist in analyzing budget versus actual performance, maintaining forecasting models, and supporting organization-wide budget planning initiatives.

Pay: $40/hour
Key Responsibilities- Reconcile position and personnel budget data across HR and financial systems
- Review and validate funding requests and budget allocation updates
- Produce financial, operational, and workforce-related reports using multiple enterprise systems
- Support annual budget development cycles and quarterly budget review processes
- Maintain and enhance short- and long-term forecasting models
- Analyze recurring and non-recurring budget activity, identifying trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings or operational efficiencies
- Partner with senior leadership and department stakeholders to evaluate financial performance and funding needs
- Lead or support special financial analysis projects and cross-functional initiatives
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, procurement, and HR teams to resolve budget and reporting issues
- Prepare executive-level reporting materials, presentations, and ad hoc analyses
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Management, or related field
- 4–8 years of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, accounting, or related finance functions
- Strong understanding of budgeting and accounting principles
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Experience with ERP or enterprise financial systems preferred (SAP experience is a plus)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Prior leadership or project coordination experience preferred
