Director of FP&A, DST Finance
Key Duties And Responsibilities- Represent Finance in Disease Strategy Teams (DSTs), coordinating financial analyses and developing reporting/analytics for each program.
- Provide strategic decision support to assess financial impacts of business cases and planning scenarios across multiple diseases and development stages.
- Partner with Disease Area Executives, Program Managers, and cross-functional DST stakeholders.
- Coordinate with finance teams (Corporate, BD, R&D, Commercial, BSMO Finance) and CFO organization areas (Accounting, Tax, Treasury) to ensure collaboration.
- Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency.
- Serve as DST Finance center of excellence for modeling, valuation, and ad hoc analysis, including Executive Committee presentations.
- Help build a high-performing Finance team.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or accounting (MBA/advanced degree preferred).
- 10+ years’ experience in FP&A, strategy, business development, portfolio management, or related biotech/pharma/life sciences roles with deep drug discovery/development/manufacturing/regulatory/commercialization understanding.
- Expert analytical and financial modeling skills (especially valuation and strategic planning).
- Excellent communication/presentation skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Proven success leading process improvement and change management.
- Experience in healthcare/pharmaceuticals/biotech/consulting.
- Business partnering with C-suite/executives.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving.
- Excel and PowerPoint;
Hyperion (or similar) knowledge. - Change leadership in evolving environments with tight deadlines.
- Strong business judgment; industry and market/product knowledge.
- Strong written/verbal communication and collaboration.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
Hybrid: remote up to two days/week; or On-Site: five days/week on-site with ad hoc flexibility.
