Potential offers vary based on experience level, qualifications.
Applicants must be local and be able and willing to commute to Boston, as this role is onsite 1 day per week and heavy networking.
Responsibilities- Spearhead business development by identifying prospects and engaging prospects and clients through personal outreach under the guidance of a Team Leader.
- Promote brands by representing the company in community and business engagements.
- Cross‑sell a variety of products including treasury services, insurance, and deposit solutions to deepen client relationships.
- Analyze credit requests and existing facilities, assessing creditworthiness to recommend appropriate structuring and pricing.
- Present credit recommendations to leadership and legal teams, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Monitor clients’ financial health and credit maturity, proactively addressing overdue payments and financial reporting requirements.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure their financial needs are met effectively.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial banking, with demonstrated expertise in underwriting and credit analysis.
- Formal bank credit training, ideally between 18 months to 2 years.
- Proven ability to manage deals generally valued at $3M and above, with an average of $10M, up to $50M.
- Experience working with participant loans and utilizing CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Strong relationship‑building skills and extensive influence within target markets.
- Deep understanding of nonprofit/community development lending, especially in sectors such as affordable housing, healthcare, or education.
- Familiarity with leading commercial and middle‑market companies in the New England region.
