Investment Tax Manager - ASC

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day tax provision (ASC 740), compliance, and deferred tax processes across multiple asset classes
• 10+ years of tax experience with progressive responsibility
• Provide technical tax guidance and resolve complex investment taxation issues
• Identify and remediate data integrity issues within investment accounting systems
• Oversee workflows across tax team members supporting various asset classes (fixed income, partnerships, derivatives, real estate)
• Support transaction analysis and tax planning in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
• Partner with external auditors during tax provision and compliance reviews
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, controls, and risk mitigation

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA or in progress preferred
• Background in Big 4 or complex tax advisory environments
• Experience in insurance or asset management, with exposure to investment taxation
• Strong knowledge of tax provision (ASC 740) and compliance processes
• Experience with tax technology, ERP systems
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
