- Lead an underwriting department for the Healthcare Practice Solutions Group (HPSG)
- Manage approximately 6 underwriters
- Oversee workflow and review of approval packages
- Recommend and/or approve loans within NCUM I credit authority
- Ensure adherence to Risk Policies and drive satisfactory regulatory audits
- Build and maintain productive relationships with business partners
- 10+ years of relevant commercial lending relationship management, underwriting, and/or adjudication experience
- Prior lending authority >/= $1 million preferred
- Proven leadership abilities
- Ability to lead in a highly professional, systems-based environment
- Proven analytical and research skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Proven organizational, multi-tasking, analytical, time management and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated understanding of value-add credit structuring in a commercial banking environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team orientation
- Computer literacy with a variety of software programs
- Demonstrated credit underwriting and administration skills
- Proven ability to identify and mitigate risk
