Fund Accounting Lead Analyst

Responsibilities

• Oversees production of periodic investment company (""f""und") financial and related shareholder and client reports
• Responsible for managing a team of financial administration professionals
• Manage client relationships
• Ensure teams provide quality service to clients
• Perform all aspects of people management
• Oversee the preparation and perform risk-based reviews of financial statements
• Manage the annual audit process
• Demonstrate an advanced understanding of investment types, mutual funds, ETFs, and financial markets
• Review information disclosed and understand SEC filing requirements
• Partner with Technology on business requirements documentation, testing and roll-out of new automation solutions
• Manage projects and lead department initiatives

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related area or equivalent work experience; MBA is a plus
• 10+ years mutual fund (or equivalent) financial reporting experience and fund administration experience
• Prior people management experience required
• Comprehensive understanding of investment company financial reporting requirements & disclosures and expense management
• Certified Public Accountant ("CPA") is a plus
• Experience with FIS Invest One fund accounting platform, including MBOR and OLE functionality, is a plus
• Experience with Confluence Unity financial reporting platform, including Publishing and Workbook functionality, is a plus
• Advanced experience working with Microsoft Office applications required, specifically Excel
