We are partnering with a highly respected middle-market investment bank to identify an experienced Investment Banking Associate to join its growing Boston based team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory transactions alongside senior bankers in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in transaction execution, financial analysis, client presentations, and business development initiatives while gaining significant exposure to senior decision-makers and clients across a variety of industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the execution of mergers & acquisitions, capital markets, and strategic advisory transactions.
  • Build and review detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials.
  • Prepare pitch books, client presentations, confidential information memoranda, and management presentations.
  • Conduct industry, company, and market research to support client engagements and business development efforts.
  • Coordinate due diligence processes and manage transaction timelines.
  • Interact directly with clients, investors, legal advisors, and other transaction stakeholders.
  • Mentor and assist junior team members as appropriate.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or a related field.
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, including DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced qualifications are advantageous.
