About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Global Commercial Banking (GCB) professional to join our Healthcare, Technology & Sponsors (HTS) Team, focusing on the Technology industry. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for complex commercial banking clients, delivering tailored financial solutions and fueling growth.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of complex clients and prospects with annual revenues of $50million to $2billion, helping companies save, borrow, and invest for current and future needs.
- Acquire, deepen, and maintain profitable client relationships through prospecting, sales, and enhancing existing relationships.
- Assess and analyze financial and cash flow statements to evaluate companies’ financial conditions and industry trends.
- Collaborate with domestic and international teammates throughout the bank, including Investment Banking, Foreign Exchange, Wealth Management, and product specialists.
- Design and deliver financial solutions to clients and prospects through cross‑sell opportunities.
- Lead dialogue with complex clients regarding industry, capital structures, and business issues.
- Coach and mentor peers while applying leadership skills.
- Adapt to changes in sales practices and market conditions.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 10years of experience in Commercial Lending or Investment Banking.
- Successful track record managing an extensive client portfolio, prospecting new business, and closing profitable transactions.
- Professional sales experience, including planning, execution, and follow‑up of client meetings.
- Strong corporate finance, capital markets, and accounting acumen.
- Financial modeling experience; completion of formal credit training required.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Capability to organize, facilitate, lead and negotiate with bank associates.
- Licensure:
Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series7 and Series
63 (must obtain within 180days). - Experience or strong passion for Technology clients; existing market knowledge preferred.
- Existing knowledge of the Technology market.
- Networking contacts in Technology centers of influence.
- Client management, client solutions, advisory, prospecting, relationship building, risk management, financial analysis, leadership development, project management, referral identification, sales performance management, business development, client experience branding, continuous improvement, data and trend analysis, pipeline management.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, finance, economics, or related field. MBA desirable.
