Principal, Public Markets Investing

Partners Capital is looking for an Investment Principal to join their Public Markets Team in Boston or New York. This role involves supporting senior investment professionals in research activities across various asset classes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the team’s goal of delivering high returns by partnering with top-tier managers.

• Support rigorous due diligence of asset managers and direct investment opportunities
• Create materials for internal investment committee consideration
• Lead ongoing diligence and monitoring of investment managers
• Conduct ongoing research on core investment themes
• Assist in portfolio management for pooled investment vehicles
• Manage investment databases and client investment processes
• Take on various projects to improve portfolio construction knowledge

• Deep understanding and passion for investing and markets
• 6-8 years of experience in a manager due diligence role or relevant experience in direct investing, investment banking or sales/trading
• Undergraduate degree with a strong track record of academic achievement
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Experience in public markets and/or absolute return investment strategies preferred
• Prior allocator experience strongly preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
