Responsibilities
- Gathers and analyzes financial information on expenses and revenues.
- Designs and enhances data visualizations for reporting.
- Develops simple analysis of economic indicators to prepare forecasts and analyses supporting financial planning needs.
- Develops financial prompts or queries for analysis of accounting and business-wide issues.
- Assists with the design and production of monthly reports.
- Supports business unit employees through analysis of financial data.
- Ensures company compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and assists with interpretation and implementation of new accounting standards.
- Recommends accounting process improvements and ensures compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in financial analysis or relevant academic experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, in particular Excel, PowerPoint, and CoPilot.
- Knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI, or other data visualization tools preferred.
