Position OverviewThe Equity Associate Intern serves as a junior analyst conducting fundamental research and providing buy/sell recommendations for stocks. The internship includes a one‑week training program on accounting, modeling, and valuation, followed by an industry project and coverage of two stocks. Interns will develop written research and deliver presentations to senior analysts and portfolio managers. Successful interns may receive full‑time offers.
Position Responsibilities- Build and leverage industry expertise through deep analysis of companies in covered subgroups, building relationships with company management, suppliers, customers, and competitors.
- Leverage expertise to anticipate industry trends and evaluate material ESG issues affecting long‑term fundamentals.
- Identify and develop insights on key stock drivers, performing differentiated research to build conviction about variable impacts on profitability and stock prices.
- Communicate effectively, iterating analysis to support or disprove theses, and present the investment case to senior analysts and portfolio managers.
- Currently pursuing a BA or BS degree.
- Excellent academic record; all majors accepted.
- Self‑driven, autonomous, and eager to make meaningful impact as a fiduciary to investors.
- Prior financial industry experience desirable but not required.
- Strong work ethic, quick learning, clear communication, and team collaboration.
Full‑time internship; approximately 37.5 hours per week. Competitive hourly pay of $37–$47
USD per hour, based on location, knowledge, skills, and experience.
