Tech M&A Associate — Own the Deal, Senior Exposure

I’m currently working with a highly regarded boutique technology investment bank that is looking to add talented Investment Banking Associates and Vice Presidents to their growing team in Boston or San Francisco
.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a lean, entrepreneurial platform where bankers have the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility, gain direct exposure to senior leadership, and play a key role in executing high-impact transactions across the technology landscape.

The team focuses on advising innovative companies across SaaS, enterprise software, technology-enabled services, fintech, and other high-growth technology sectors
. Unlike larger platforms, this environment provides professionals with significantly more ownership across the full deal lifecycle, including client interaction, transaction strategy, financial analysis, valuation, marketing materials, and execution.

• Execute M&A and strategic advisory transactions for high-growth technology companies
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials
• Support and manage deal execution from pitch through closing
• Work closely with senior bankers, company executives, investors, and strategic acquirers
• Prepare CIMs, management presentations, teasers, and other client-facing materials
• Participate in due diligence processes and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders

• Investment Banking Associate or Vice President with experience in M&A
• Strong preference for candidates with exposure to technology, SaaS, software, fintech, or tech-enabled services
• Boutique or middle-market investment banking experience strongly preferred
• Strong financial modeling and transaction execution skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a lean team environment
