Vice President - FP&A

PE backed fintech company in the greater Boston area is seeking a VP FP&A to lead all financial operations, reporting, and strategic planning activity. This role will report into the CFO and manage a small team. We are targeting candidates with 12+ years of FP&A experience, ideally with some exposure to investments, fintech, and/or SaaS.

• Lead the annual budget, long-range planning, and rolling forecast processes.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Monitor business performance, analyze variances, and identify risks and opportunities.
• Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, investments, and resource allocation.
• Prepare executive and Board-level financial reporting and presentations.
• Partner with business leaders to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the FP&A team.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial planning processes, reporting, and systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership in FP&A.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to influence executive leadership and partner across functions.
• Experience with ERP and financial planning systems preferred.
