Compensation: $90,000 – $120,000/year + bonus

Atlantic Group is hiring an Investment Operations Analyst in Boston, MA for our client. This role supports investment operations, transaction processing, financial analysis, and related activities within an investment management environment. The Investment Operations Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate investment activity, maintain accurate financial information, and support efficient operational processes. The ideal candidate has a background in finance, accounting, investment operations, or financial services with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Responsibilitiesas the Transaction Services Analyst:
- Transaction Execution: Support the end-to-end onboarding and closing of private investment transactions by coordinating documentation, funding activities, and operational setup.
- Investment Operations: Establish new investments, legal entities, and securities within internal systems while maintaining accurate investment records and reporting data.
- Document Review: Analyze legal and financial agreements to identify key transaction terms, operational requirements, and accounting considerations while escalating complex issues as needed.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with investment professionals, legal counsel, accounting teams, external managers, and service providers to facilitate efficient transaction processing and settlement.
- Operational Due Diligence: Assist in evaluating external investment managers by reviewing operational processes, controls, and supporting documentation during onboarding activities.
- Reporting & Reconciliations: Reconcile transaction activity, maintain organized records, support audit requests, and prepare analytical reporting for accounting, compliance, and management teams.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in transaction advisory, transaction services, deal execution, investment operations, fund operations, or public accounting within financial services is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Exposure to private equity, private credit, alternative investments, investment management, or financial services transactions is preferred.
- Technical
Skills:
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required. Experience interpreting financial and legal documentation and familiarity with accounting principles is preferred. - Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail, sound problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
