Director, FP&A & Finance Operations

KBW has partnered with a growing company in Massachusetts that is seeking a strategic and hands‑on Director of FP&A to lead financial planning, business analysis, and finance operations for a growing SaaS organization.

Reporting to the CFO, this role will partner with executive leadership to drive strategic decision‑making, oversee outsourced accounting operations, and lead finance transformation through automation and AI.

• Lead all FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, planning, and financial reporting.
• Develop and analyze KPIs and metrics.
• Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives, pricing, investments, and M&A activities.
• Oversee outsourced finance operations, including month‑end close, AP/AR, payroll coordination, and financial controls.
• Drive finance transformation by implementing automation, AI, and process improvements.
• Support audits, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
• Strong FP&A experience within a SaaS or recurring revenue business.
• Proven success leading finance transformation, automation, and AI initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills.

This role is open to candidates in Massachusetts or within a reasonable commute – candidates from other locations will not be considered.
