We are currently seeking candidates for a Senior Analyst, Private Credit Operations opportunity with a large global investment management firm in Boston, MA. The Senior Analyst, Private Credit Operations will support the full lifecycle of private credit investments, including transaction closings, settlements, loan administration, data management, and ongoing operational support. This role offers broad exposure to investment, legal, valuation, fund services, technology, and other operational teams within a growing private markets platform.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of private credit operations experience and will be located in the Greater Boston area.

This Senior Analyst, Private Credit Operations position pays $120,000–$140,000 annually (depending on experience) plus a bonus. This role will require working a hybrid schedule in Boston, MA with at least 3 days onsite in Boston, MA per week.

• Support private credit transactions throughout the investment lifecycle, including deal closing, settlement, ongoing servicing, amendments, and loan payoffs.
• Perform loan administration and ensure key transaction terms and operational data are accurately captured in internal systems.
• Coordinate with custodian banks, administrators, agents, and other external providers on private investment closings, settlements, payments, and post-trade activity.
• Partner with investment and legal teams to review transaction documentation and support closing and amendment activity.
• Research and resolve settlement issues, payment discrepancies, custody questions, and fund administration matters.
• Assist investment and trading teams with security setup, trade processing, compliance requirements, and execution workflows.
• Maintain accurate private markets data across systems and investigate and correct operational discrepancies.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of private credit processes, controls, workflows, and operating models.
• Represent Private Credit Operations on cross-functional projects and broader operational initiatives.

• 5+ years of experience in private credit operations supporting the private credit investment lifecycle.
• Experience reviewing private credit documentation, including credit agreements, amendments, and payoff documentation, for key operational terms.
• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred.
• Strong Excel skills, including experience working with and manipulating financial or operational data.
• Understanding of private credit transaction processing, loan administration, settlements, and investment operations.
• Experience implementing or improving operational processes, controls, or operating models.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across investment, operations, legal, and external service-provider teams.
