Job Overview

A prestigious law firm is seeking an associate with 3+ years of substantial experience in securitization and structured finance, or candidates with transactional experience and a strong desire to work in the Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLO) space. The role offers an opportunity to join an expanding and high-performing Global Finance group, serving a diverse global client base that includes major asset managers, equity investors, and prominent CLO underwriters.

Duties
  • Provide legal counsel on securitization and structured finance transactions

    Advise clients on Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs)
    Draft and negotiate transaction documents

    Collaborate with global financial institutions, asset managers, and investors

    Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

    Support clients in the execution of financial transactions
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in securitization, structured finance, or related areas

    Strong understanding of private credit, CLOs, fund finance, NAV-based facilities, or subscription line credit facilities preferred

    Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial transactions

    Education:

    Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

    Excellent academic credentials

    Certifications:

    Admission to the state bar in good standing (New York or ability to obtain admission)

    Skills:

    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

    Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills

    Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment

    Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to client service
