THE ROLEUsing discretion and sound judgment, the Senior Treasury Analyst supports and performs key Treasury functions across cash management, bank administration, financial analysis and the maintenance and enhancement of the Kyriba treasury management system. The role contributes to daily liquidity activities, financial close processes, internal and external reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This position works independently on assigned responsibilities while partnering with department leadership, Corporate Finance, business units, and external service providers to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient Treasury operations.
WHATYOU WILL DO
- Support global cash management operations in collaboration with the Treasury team for MFS and its subsidiaries:
- Determining the daily cash availability and ascertaining if it meets requirements; if requirements aren't met, proposes solutions to move back into compliance.
- Initiate short-term investments based on daily cash availability
- Reconcile daily cash activity
- Global payment administration
- Utilizing their judgement and expertise to handle day-to-day inquiries and issues that arise
- Creates control reports and financial analysis, related to the following Treasury functions:
- Cash forecasting
- Debt management
- Seed investments and derivative positions
- Bank relationship management for the corporate treasury function, including annual audits of authorized signers, oversight of personally identifiable information (PII) held by banks, and coordination of annual tax filings.
- Analyzes and makes recommendations for all processes within the department, but specifically regarding the costs and benefits of alternative banking services and products.
- Communicates and resolves all bank service issues with external service providers and relating to financial applications and reports. Additionally, presents and interfaces with internal stakeholders like Corporate Finance or business units.
- Manage and maintain the Kyriba treasury management system
- Serve as the MFS liaison with the Kyriba account management team
- Manage and coordinate system updates and enhancements
- Manage and track support tickets and outstanding service issues to be resolved by vendor
- Participate in project teams and make suggestions to result in new and revised procedures and system modifications.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.
- Bachelor's degree and 2-5+ years of related Treasury, Finance, Accounting, or cash management experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-resolution skills with demonstrated attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently on assigned responsibilities and exercise sound judgment in resolving routine and moderately complex issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders and external banking partners.
- Strong computer skills, including spreadsheet and database applications; familiarity with Treasury Management Systems (Kyriba, G-Treasury, etc.), financial reporting tools, and banking platforms.
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification preferred.
- Experience with Bloomberg, Treasury Management Systems, bank portals
- Experience supporting cash forecasting, debt, derivatives, seed capital, investment operations, or financial close processes preferred.

Base Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $This position is eligible for competitive incentive bonus.
