This position will be a hybrid work arrangement. You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed. There will also be the need for travel.

The Vice President, Investment Specialist will work to drive the growth of Harbour Vest’s private equity evergreen solutions in the United States. Harbour Vest’s evergreen solutions include private markets comingled vehicles and separate account opportunities, targeted at private wealth and institutional investors.

Responsibilities include working alongside Investor Relations and Private Wealth teams to facilitate new business wins, identifying capability builds that cross-functionally improve the product and identifying adjacencies for new product development. This individual will be responsible for educating and engaging with the global Private Wealth and Investor Relations teams and other internal partners; making pitches to clients and prospects; conducting portfolio reviews with clients and overseeing important client responses to ensure quality of submissions.

Our team blends deep investment expertise with industry‑leading data, technology, and portfolio management capabilities to deliver seamless, scalable solutions for institutions and wealth partners. We collaborate across Harbour Vest to build purpose‑built tools, streamline operations, and deliver transparent insights that support thoughtful allocation and long‑term portfolio construction.

The ideal candidate is someone who has:

• A strong understanding of private market evergreen vehicles and a deep knowledge of private equity and the private wealth market.
• Excellent presentation and client engagement skills with the ability to tailor information based on the audience.
• Strong relationship management skills to partner closely with fellow Harbour Vest Investment and Investor Relations professionals, as well as external prospects and clients.
