ASSOCIATE WEALTH ADVISOR
Primary Responsibilities Financial Planning & Strategy
- Develop, revise, and present comprehensive financial plans using planning software
- Create and deliver advanced tax, estate, and insurance planning strategies
- Identify advanced planning opportunities and contribute to internal best practices
- Develop mastery of the firm’s investment philosophy
- Create holistic investment strategies tailored to each client
- Monitor and evaluate client risk tolerance over time
- Lead development and presentation of financial planning recommendations
- Develop foundational understanding of trading fundamentals
- Partner with the Portfolio Management team to review and execute portfolios
- Support trade recommendations, rebalancing, and tax-loss harvesting
- Collaborate on investment implementation and oversight
- Serve as day-to-day contact for client needs
- Independently lead client communications and meetings
- Lead a select number of client relationships
- Diligently document client interactions in the CRM system
- Complete billing reviews and ensure advisory compliance standards
- Meet with clients in person as required (some travel may be necessary)
- Master the firm’s technology stack, including CRM systems and custodian platforms
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of operational processes
- Collaborate with other Associate Wealth Advisors and advisory team members
- Participate in advisory team business planning initiatives
- Support firm strategic priorities
- Contribute to business development efforts within a team environment
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Series 65 (or equivalent) obtained within 120 days of employment
- 4+ years of financial services experience
- CFP® preferred (or equivalent designation such as ChFC® or CPA/PFS)
- Proven experience in financial analysis, modeling, and strategic planning
- Strong knowledge of investment strategies, risk management, tax planning, and estate planning
- Proficiency in financial planning software and CRM systems
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly
- Team-oriented mindset
- Clean U4 record
