We are looking for a Senior Manager, Corporate Development to help advance the inorganic growth strategy at the company through M&A and strategic partnerships. This individual will work closely with senior executives and leaders across the company to identify and evaluate opportunities that accelerate the mission and long-term strategic priorities of the company.
The ideal candidate will have proven skills in financial modeling, strategic assessment, and M&A due diligence, along with the curiosity and strategic thinking needed to identify important factors that may never fit on a spreadsheet. This role requires someone who can move fluidly between high-level strategy and detailed transaction execution, develop strong perspectives with imperfect information, and effectively collaborate with senior stakeholders across the company and the broader technology, healthcare, and investment ecosystems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Drive Deal Execution:
Lead key aspects of M&A, strategic investment, and partnership processes from initial evaluation through execution, including market mapping, target sourcing, financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, approval materials, closing, and integration planning.
- Partner with senior executives and Product leaders to translate strategic priorities into actionable market landscapes, target universes, and build/buy/partner recommendations.
- Develop and maintain a prioritized pipeline of acquisition, investment, and strategic partnership opportunities, including proactive sourcing and outreach to prospective targets.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on financial analysis and valuation, including discounted cash flow analysis, precedent transactions, comparable companies, accretion/dilution analysis, unit economics, and business case modeling.
- Build sophisticated long-term financial and capital models to assess potential transactions, new growth initiatives, and capital allocation decisions.
- Lead cross-functional due diligence processes in partnership with Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and other key stakeholders, synthesizing findings into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
- Develop rigorous quantitative and qualitative assessments of strategic growth initiatives, including new markets, technologies, products, and business lines, in close partnership with Corporate Strategy and other cross-functional teams.
- Prepare clear, decision-oriented materials for senior executives and the Board, articulating investment theses, key risks, valuation considerations, strategic rationale, and potential impact on long-term value creation.
- Play a lead role in transaction negotiations and structuring, developing perspectives on key economic and strategic terms and helping drive transactions toward successful outcomes.
- Support post-transaction integration planning to ensure strategic objectives, operating priorities, and value-creation opportunities are clearly defined and executable.
- Operate as a business athlete across the company, serving as a flexible resource across the organization and applying financial analysis, strategic thinking, and project leadership to high-priority initiatives and complex business problems beyond the traditional scope of Corporate Development.
- 7+ years of relevant experience across corporate development, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or related roles, with meaningful transaction experience.
- Demonstrated experience evaluating and executing M&A transactions, strategic investments, or similarly complex strategic initiatives.
- Deep expertise in financial modeling, valuation, unit economics, LTV modeling, and investment/business case development.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end M&A process, including sourcing, diligence, valuation, transaction structuring, negotiation, closing, and integration planning.
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional work streams and driving processes forward in fast-moving environments.
- Strong strategic judgment and the ability to identify the most important qualitative and quantitative factors when evaluating opportunities with incomplete information.
