Michael Aaron Staffing is partnering with a growing consumer products company seeking a Finance Associate to join its team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with financial data but also wants to have a hand in improving and automating processes.
The company recently implemented Net Suite and is continuing to transition historically manual, high-volume finance processes into more efficient, system-driven workflows. This person will play an important role in that transformation while supporting credits, deductions, AR transactions, reconciliations and financial reporting.
This isn't just about processing transactions. You'll join a company that's actively modernizing its Finance function and have the opportunity to help shape how Net Suite is utilized, reduce manual work and create more scalable processes.
What You’ll Do
- Process and reconcile high volumes of customer credits, deductions, adjustments and AR transactions.
- Research discrepancies, short payments, pricing differences and account variances.
- Utilize Net Suite for AR, credits, reconciliations, reporting and financial data.
- Help transition manual and spreadsheet-heavy processes into standardized Net Suite workflows.
- Perform account reconciliations and assist with journal entries and month-end close.
- Work with large datasets in Excel to validate and reconcile financial information.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, accuracy and overall process efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of Accounting, Finance, AR, credits, deductions or related experience.
- Strong Net Suite experience and comfort using ERP systems to manage high-volume financial activity.
- Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, formulas and large datasets
. - Strong reconciliation and basic accounting knowledge.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in a high-volume transaction/data environment
. - Experience with CPG, consumer products, retail, distribution or eCommerce is a plus.
