As a member of the Wellington Trust team, the Co-op is an integral part of our business, administrative, and fund development efforts. The Co-op will have extensive exposure to all aspects of the investment management industry, including investment products and marketing, client service, legal and compliance, investment administration, tax services, and information systems.

Responsibilities

• Completing analytical projects related to the business, regulatory and investment oversight of our funds
• Conducting financial and business analyses for the Board of Directors and other oversight committees
• Interacting with and building relationships across all functions and levels of the organization
• Supporting certain routine fund investor requests with reporting
• Assisting with systems-related initiatives, including quality-assurance reviews and development of requirements for new management reporting tools
• Leading ongoing ad hoc business-, product-, and finance-oriented projects

Qualifications

• Excellent academic record, including relevant coursework in finance, economics, and/or management
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
• Comfortable working in a deadline driven role, while achieving results with precision and efficiency
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced organization with high professional standards
• Prior work in a financial or other client-oriented team is preferred
