As a member of the Wellington Trust team, the co-op is an integral part of our business, administrative, and fund development efforts. The co-op will have extensive exposure to all aspects of the investment management industry, including investment products and marketing, client service, legal and compliance, investment administration, tax services, and information systems.

Responsibilities:

• Completing analytical projects related to the business, regulatory and investment oversight of our funds
• Conducting financial and business analyses for the Board of Directors and other oversight committees
• Interacting with and building relationships across all functions and levels of the organization
• Supporting certain routine fund investor requests with reporting
• Assisting with systems-related initiatives, including quality-assurance reviews and development of requirements for new management reporting tools
• Leading ongoing ad hoc business-, product-, and finance-oriented projects

Qualifications:

• Excellent academic record, including relevant coursework in finance, economics, and/or management
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
• Comfortable working in a deadline driven role, while achieving results with precision and efficiency
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced organization with high professional standards
• Prior work in a financial or other client-oriented team is preferred

This co-op position entails cross-training to ensure optimal performance across functions. The anticipated start date for accepted candidates is December 2026/January 2027.

We strive to pay employees fairly and competitively across all levels and roles. Our approach to compensation considers all aspects of total compensation; all employees are eligible to receive salary, variable compensation, and benefits. The base salary range for this position is:

$19-$35 per hour

This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.

Base salary is only one component of Wellington's total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/or Incentives, if eligible.
