** Position Summary
** The Lead FP&A Analyst, ARR and Revenue owns the reporting, reconciliation, and analysis of Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and revenue at a software-as-a-service (SaaS) business. The role produces the authoritative monthly ARR roll-forward, owns the full reconciliation from ARR to General Ledger (GL) revenue, and delivers the variance commentary that executive leadership, the board, and go-to-market functions rely on to make decisions.

The position sits at the intersection of Finance, Accounting, and data. The successful candidate will work directly in Adaptive, Excel and Snowflake and the company's business intelligence (BI) tools to source, validate, and automate recurring revenue reporting, rather than rebuilding it manually each period.## ##
** Key Responsibilities**###
** ARR Reporting and Analytics
*** Prepare and publish the monthly and quarterly ARR roll-forward, including new, expansion, contraction, and churn activity, along with net revenue retention (NRR) and gross revenue retention (GRR).
* Maintain the governing definitions for all recurring revenue metrics, and enforce consistent application across Finance, Sales, and Customer Success.
* Build out and analyze ARR performance by product, customer cohort, segment, and region, and identify emerging trends for leadership review.
* Produce recurring revenue content for board, investor, and lender reporting packages.###
** Revenue Reporting and Reconciliation
*** Own the complete ARR-to-GL bridge. FP&A is accountable for reconciling ARR to bookings, billings, deferred revenue, and recognized revenue each period, and for documenting the reconciliation end to end.
* Research and resolve variances at the contract level, and partner with Revenue Accounting on ASC 606 treatment and timing differences.
* Own the revenue forecast, including model construction, submission into the planning system, and period-over-period forecast accuracy tracking.
* Support the monthly close through revenue accruals, flux analysis, and variance commentary against budget, prior forecast, and prior year.###
** Data, Systems, and Controls
*** Serve as the Finance owner of recurring revenue data across Snowflake, the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, the billing platform, the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and the planning tool.
* Write and maintain Structured Query Language (SQL) queries in Snowflake to extract, validate, and reconcile recurring revenue data at scale.
* Build and maintain BI dashboards that give stakeholders self-service access to ARR and revenue reporting.
* Diagnose and remediate the root causes of data breaks, and reduce reliance on manual spreadsheet adjustments.
