The Investment Services Analyst will serve as a key member of the firm's Investment team, acting as the team’s primary point of contact for investment-related questions from Investment Officers and serving as a critical liaison between Investment Officers and the Investment Management Team. This individual will provide timely, accurate, and actionable investment insights across individual equities, fixed income securities, ETFs, mutual funds, and macroeconomic developments.
The Investment Services Analyst will manage and respond to questions from Investment Officers, allowing the Investment Officers to benefit from a dedicated resource within the Investments team. The individual in this role will attend all Investment Committee meetings and fund update meetings with managers of approved investment strategies, providing firsthand exposure to investment discussions, portfolio decisions, manager insights, strategy updates, and evolving investment themes.
Responsibilities
- Attend Investment Committee meetings and maintain a comprehensive understanding of current investment recommendations, portfolio positioning, approved investment ideas, and strategic priorities.
- Participate in discussions surrounding new investment opportunities and serve as a conduit between the Investment Committee and Investment Officers.
- Attend meetings with external fund managers, portfolio managers, and investment firms to stay informed of strategy updates, organizational changes, portfolio shifts, and evolving market perspectives.
- Monitor and communicate key takeaways from fund manager meetings, including changes to investment philosophy, portfolio construction, risk management practices, personnel, or outlook.
- Develop deep familiarity with the firm's approved investment lineup and maintain institutional knowledge of investment decisions and manager due diligence efforts.
- Proactively identify information that may be relevant to Investment Officers and distribute concise, actionable updates without waiting on formal requests.
- Maintain the firm's equity ratings, approved research databases, completion lists, and individual stock inquiry tracking to ensure investment information remains current, organized, and accessible.
- 1-3 years of investment management experience, investment research, or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field preferred; progress toward a CFA designation a plus.
- Knowledge of investing and global financial markets; knowledge of investment software (i.e. Bloomberg, Morningstar, Fact Set, UBS HOLT) a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high focus on relationship management.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize and efficiently manage competing deadlines and expectations.
Compensation Information:
Annual base salary for this role is $70,000 - $85,000 based on experience and qualifications. This role may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus.
